Our Strong Paper Twine with a little extra - the "sparkle" is a thread (not a wire)that is wound around and partly into the paper twine. If you cut the paper twine the thread will slowly start to get loose. Please see last picture. 

Paper Twines combine durable duty with wonderful, carefully selected colors that range from funky and young to sophisticated elegance. All of our paper twines are hand washably, have a wonderful, warm feeling and a bit of a "papery shine".

Rinse or hand wash with warm water if necessary. No wringing or dry spinning, please. Let dry flat if possible. Our paper twines are also used in carpet making - so they're extremly extremely sturdy and durable.
